How Does Relfydess Work?

Relfydess works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles into where it is injected, which reduces muscle contractions.

This “chemical denervation” leads to a temporary reduction in muscle activity, softening lines that are caused by repeated facial expressions.

Over time, as the neuromuscular junction recovers, muscle movement gradually returns.

   • I begin with a face-to-face assessment of your facial anatomy, dynamic lines, and what you want to achieve. This face to face assessment is essential before I can prescribe and is a legal requirement to prescribe toxins in the UK now.

   • I take your medical history to ensure you are suitable for me to prescribe Relfydess for you.

     
     

2. Treatment

   
   

   • Based on your concerns (frown lines, crow’s feet, etc), I create a treatment plan.

   • The treatment is performed by me, Nurse Jess.

   • I use precise injection techniques unique to your area of treatment and anatomy to maximise efficacy and minimise risk.

   • Downtime is minimal. You can have this treatment on your lunch break.

     
     

3. Aftercare & Follow-Up

   
   

   • You will begin to notice relaxing of muscle movement within 24 hours. Full effect more commonly stabilises over a few days.

   • We schedule a follow-up to assess results.

   • Subsequent treatments can be planned often at around 5- 6 months later, if clinically and personally suitable.
