Consultation

Consultations are an essential part of your treatment journey for the following reasons. Understanding your aims and goals for treatment, taking a medical history to see if treatments are safe for you, identifying suitable treatments that will get the best results for you, managing expectations of treatment, building trust and rapport and ensuring informed consent. New patients will always require a consultation and there is no obligation to book a treatment, but if you do the £20 fee is deducted.

Wrinkle Reduction

Botulinum Toxin, commonly referred to as 'Botox" has been safely used for over 20 years in aesthetic medicine and is a popular treatment in the UK. Small amounts of toxin are injected into facial muscles to temporarily block movement. This creates a smoothing effect and lessens wrinkles. Results are temporary and usually last for 12 weeks. Face to Face Medical Aesthetics uses Botulinum Toxin, Azzalure on patients who are under 65. This is a prescription only medicine and requires a face to face consultation before the procedure can take place. This is a legal prescribing requirement in the UK. Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation, commonly referred to as 'lip filler', is an aesthetic treatment used to revitalise and restore definition in the lips acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that supports structure and volume, it is hydrophilic which means it draws in water. By injecting hyaluronic acid in the form of dermal filler, lip shape and contours can be enhanced and lines around the mouth known as 'smokers lines' can be treated. Face to Face only uses premium brand fillers, such as Teoxane RHA Kiss from the award winning RHA Teoxane range of dermal fillers. This range of dermal filler has been designed to adapt seamlessly to the dynamic demands of your face. It also contains lidocaine which is a local anaesthetic to ease discomfort. Results last for 12 months, longer in some people.

Mid Face Augmentation

Mid face augmentation is a very popular treatment that gives instant results. Dermal fillers containing hyaluronic acid are used to enhance and restore lost volume in the cheek and mid face area. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is present in human connective tissue and help maintain hydration, flexibility and movement. In aesthetics, HA is used to create volume and definition. Loss of volume in the mid face due to changes brought about by ageing are common in men and women age 30 plus and mid face augmentation can be a great starting point to restore youthful facial proportions. Face to Face only uses premium brand fillers that are made from non animal products and purchased from regulated and approved pharmacies.

Dermal Fillers

At Face to Face, we offer dermal fillers to different areas of the face. Nasolabial lines, these are the 'folds' that can appear from the corner of the nose leading down to the edges of the mouth. Marionette lines - these are the lines that can form at the corner of the mouth and lead down to the jaw line and we can also enhance the chin and jawline, giving a more defined look. Dermal fillers containing Hyaluronic Acid are used to restore lost and definition. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is present in human connective tissue and help maintain hydration, flexibility and movement. In aesthetics, HA is used to create volume and definition. Face to Face only uses premium brand fillers that are made from non animal products and purchased from regulated and approved pharmacies. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using a prescription only treatment called Hyaluronidase.

Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are injectable treatments that improve fine lines and skin hydration. At Face to Face, we use Teoxane Redensity 1. This is a skin re-densification treatment made from a very fine form of Hyaluronic acid, amino acids anti- oxidants and vitamins. It is perfect for revitalising and moisturising the skin, targeting skin concerns such as sun damage, smoking, external pollutants and, of course, the signs of ageing. The treatment is injected into the surface layer of the skin and can be used in the face, neck and décolleté, and not only leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth, but also can help prevent the formation of new wrinkles.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are a biostimulant injectable treatment, also known as PDRN. Made from fragments of fish DNA, PDRNs stimulate the body's natural production of collagen and elastin which improves skin regeneration and hydration, skin elasticity and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, they have anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritated skin, improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, pigmentation issues and uneven skin. PDRNs can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands and also on the head to stimulate hair growth. They are particularly effective at treating dark shadows in the under eye area which can be helpful for people who are not suitable for tear trough filler.

Skin Resurfacing Treatments

The start of your treatment journey should begin with your skin. Skin resurfacing treatments remove the dead skin cells from the top layer of the epidermis, revealing fresher cells beneath which restores a smoother and more radiant complexion. Skin resurfacing treatments are sometimes called skin peels. There are three depths of skin peels, mild, medium and deep. All skin peels offered at Face to Face are mild treatments, this means you won't peel, they are more for exfoliation. No downtime, no redness, no pain, no peeling. Just radiant exfoliated skin. Treatment takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Skin resurfacing treatments can be used before any injectable treatment or microneedling, making them the perfect pre treatment add on. When purchased with a full price treatment they are just £25. For best results, a course of multiple treatments may be recommended.

Medical Microneedling

Sometimes referred to as collagen induction therapy, medical microneedling is a procedure that involves tiny single use needles puncturing the skin very quickly at a superficial level. This naturally stimulates the body to produce collagen. Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that improves skin elasticity, tone, and texture and is essential for cell and tissue structural support. This treatment has been used for many years and is very safe when performed correctly and addresses numerous skin issues, including fine lines, acne scars, large pores and dark spots. You will see improvements after one treatment but a course may be recommended to see maximum results. Evidence suggests multiple treatments can increase collagen production by up to 400% percent! All Microneedling treatments at Face to Face are super charged with a skin peel first and finished with a take home cooling sheet mask, all included in the price, £80 when booked alongside a full price treatment and £100 as a stand alone treatment. Redness will be experienced immediately after treatment, this is completely normal and will lessen over the next 24 hours.

I'm Nurse Jess, the practitioner behind the brand and owner of Face to Face.

I'm a Registered Nurse Prescriber and proud to say I've been practising as an NHS nurse for 17 years now.

I offer a range of treatments including injectables such dermal filler, wrinkle relaxing injections, skin boosters and polynucleotides and skin care treatments such as microneedling, mesotherapy and skin resurfacing treatments, all administered in my beautiful and relaxing clinic space.

I pride myself on combining safety, integrity and ethics with beautiful and natural looking results and glowing skin.

Effective skincare should compliment your treatments and I can advise you on a regime that will suit your skin type and budget.

It's OK to be nervous and have lots of questions, the world of aesthetics can definitely be overwhelming. It's my job to guide you on your journey. I will give you honest advice and WILL NOT sell you treatments you don't need, or that aren't right for you and I will NOT overfill your face!

I began my journey as an Aesthetics Nurse 4 years ago after experiencing first hand the confidence treatments can bring, I didn't see myself as someone who would embrace aesthetic treatments but I was amazed at how a few treatments made such a difference to how I felt about myself.

Like many practitioners, I combine my NHS nursing career alongside practising aesthetics.

FAQs & Policies

Late Cancel and "No Show" Policy

Face to Face Medical Aesthetics values your time and appreciates your commitment to your appointments. To ensure fairness to all clients and efficient clinic operations, we have implemented the following late cancellation and no-show policy. Late cancellation is defined as a cancellation made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Your card details are required to confirm your appointment. No payment is taken at point of confirmation, your card details are simply linked to the appointment. Where appointments are cancelled within 48 of the appointment time, £30 will be charged. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will always endeavour to accommodate changes to appointments where possible. However, late cancellations can disrupt our scheduling and impact other clients and result in lost revenue for the clinic. No Show A no-show is defined as a missed appointment without providing prior notice. £30 will be charged for no-shows. Persistent no-shows may result in the clinic's refusal to book future appointments. Exceptions In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or emergencies, the clinic may waive the late cancellation or no-show fee at its discretion. Supporting documentation may be required. Payment The late cancellation or no-show fee is deducted from the linked payment card at point of late cancellation or no-show. Communication The Late Cancellation & No Show Policy is Shared with patients at various points throughout the booking process. At point of confirming a booking a confirmation email with the appointment details is sent. 72 hours prior to the appointment, a reminder email is sent. 24 hours prior to the appointment a text message reminders sent. The delivery & opening of all booking related email communications is tracked. We encourage patients to reschedule or cancel appointments with sufficient notice to avoid these fees. Managing Your Appointment You're able to manage your own appointment via your secure Glowday account. Head to Glowday.com and log in to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

We may collect the following personal information via Glowday and our own means: Basic information: Name, address, contact details (email, phone number). Medical information: Medical history, allergies, current medications, treatment history. Images: Before and after treatment photos (with consent). Financial information: Payment details for treatments. Marketing information: Preferences for receiving marketing communications. We will only process personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so, including: Consent: For specific treatments, for sharing of before and after photos/videos or marketing communications. Contract: To provide treatment and services. Legitimate interests: To improve our services and protect our business. Legal obligation: To comply with medico-legal and insurance requirements.
Children and Under 18s Policy

Children are not permitted to attend clinic appointments, regardless of reason or treatment. Face to Face Medical Aesthetics does not treatment anyone under 18 years of age. Please do not be offended if you are asked for ID.
